Supplements are weird. You can drop serious money on quality products, then completely waste them by taking them wrong. Timing matters. What you eat with them matters. The whole routine around them actually matters way more than the marketing wants you to think.
Mornings work best for most supplements because your body is ramping up after sleeping. Everything is sort of reset and ready to process what you give it. Cortisol is naturally higher when you wake up, your gut is getting active, and absorption happens more efficiently than later when you’ve got food from three meals sitting around.

1. Water First, Everything Else After

Skipping days or taking them randomly throughout the week cuts effectiveness significantly. These aren’t aspirin. They don’t work instantly. They build up over weeks, and that process works way better when intake is regular and predictable.
4. Space Out From Medications
If you’re on prescription meds, don’t just assume you can throw supplements in at the same time. Some things interact or compete for absorption.

Keep It Simple or It Won’t Last
The best routine is whichever one you’ll actually stick with long-term. Complicated systems with ten different bottles and strict timing windows? Nobody does that past the first month. Too annoying.
Drink water. Eat breakfast with some fat. Take your supplements. Done. That’s it. Doing this basic routine consistently for three months will show way more results than some elaborate protocol you follow twice, then give up on.
